The Selma-Montgomery-Tuskegee Tennis Foundation is dedicated to preparing children to play tennis in college on a tennis scholarship. This is accomplished through intense physical conditioning, tennis lessons, tournaments, and camps for children living in Montgomery, Selma, and Tuskegee, Alabama. Tennis competition provides a unique environment and opportunity for us to demonstrate and teach the virtues of belief in one’s self, self-control, patience, how to function under pressure, overcoming setbacks, respect for authority, honesty, validation within, hard work and commitment. In addition, our tennis program gives area children a global and multicultural perspective on life.
